What these estimates can and cannot do.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

ClearCalc is designed to help you compare everyday money decisions quickly. To use it well, it helps to know exactly what the results represent.

Estimates, not advice

The calculators produce estimates using fixed assumptions that you enter. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice, and they are not a recommendation to take any particular action.

Simplified formulas

  • Loan estimates assume a fixed rate and equal monthly payments, and exclude fees, insurance, and taxes.
  • Savings estimates assume a constant return and steady contributions, and exclude taxes, fees, and inflation.
  • Budget estimates use only the figures you provide and exclude irregular expenses, taxes, and emergencies.

No live data

This prototype does not connect to live market, banking, medical, or education data. Rates and returns are assumptions you supply, not current offers from any provider.

Verify before you rely

Before making a significant decision, confirm the numbers with the relevant provider and, where appropriate, a qualified professional who can consider your full situation. Use ClearCalc as a starting point, not the final word.
